Hi girls!
This is the training notice for 25/06/2009.
Pls ensure that you have sewn your new patrol emblem correctly (it should form one straight line with the first button of your uniform and thinking day patch).
Your socks should be 4fingers above your ankle and your shoes must be WHITE canvas shoe.
The reporting time for the NDP contingent (including flag bearer, escort and state flag) is 8am while the reporting time for non-NDP is 10am.
Pls make sure that all hairs are tied before reporting time or else you will be considered as late.

Hi girls!
As promised, the NDP selection results are out. For those who have gotten in, congratulations! For those who did not, it's okay! You still have next year (not sec3s of course..)
As seen, there are only 18 guides in the contingent and we need 21. So the other 3places will be reserved for guides who didn't come for the selection but have valid reasons. Reserves will be chosen according to the selections.
Do note that once you are in the contingent, you are required to attend ALLtrainings unless you have classes. Pls also inform the in-charge if you are feeling unwell during the training.
Lastly, all positions here can be subjected to changes if a guide repeatedly refuse to turn up for trainings or their drilling is not up to standard.

HELLO ALL! :D
Well, the results for the post are out, and I really would like to congratulate all those who were promoted! For those who got their desired posts, congrats, may you excel in striving to bring YTGG to greater heights. For those who didn't get the post you wanted, don't be sad aite! It's the contribution that matters the most, no matter what rank you hold. And remember, all of you have to move as a cohort and as a company. Get rid of the word 'cliques' when you're in Guides :D
And as for the training on the 18th, I hope all of you will be able to show us your best abilities. Getting into the NDP contingent (for school) is really something nice, and the experience, both good or bad , will be worth it. We really hope to see the best from all of you!
Till here, and do enjoy your holidays! (Yes I know that your homework is piling up, and that you have to balance it with Guides training every now and then, but ENDURE! You have to strive hard to be on top )

Hi girls!
Pls take note that there will be a training on 18th June, from 830 to 1300. Attire will be half u (guide t and guide skirt). This is a NDP selection, opened for sec1s to sec3s. The selection will be based on your marching capablities, irregardless of which level you are from.
Below is the number of guides we need for this year's parade: 1 state flag holder 1 flag bearer 1 escort 21 guides for contingent
If you wish to be in any of this, please do YOUR BEST in this training. Please also take note that selection will only be held once as the names of selected guides have to be submitted on 20th June.
New PL/ PS: Please pass down this information to EVERYONE!

Hi girls!
As promised, this is the new list of PLs and your patrols. Do remember to change your patrol emblem (you can either buy at HQ or exchange among yourself).
We are sorry that we have to cut down to 8 patrols because our company is shrinking. With a smaller number of patrols but more guides in each patrol, we believe that you girls can bond together more and make your guiding years a memorable one. What is important is that we stay strong as a company :)
There will be a uniform check before ROD. Details will be told to you again. Pls check this blog regularly :)

Hi girls! I'm sure the BBQ has been fun for you! For the benefit of those who were not here when we announced a few important things, please refer to the information below:
2. Your new patrols will be out latest by next week, 14/06/09. Pls check this blof for your new patrols. As you know, the company is shrinking and there is no need for 10patrols. Therefore, we have decided to reduce it to 8. Pls remember to exchange/buy your patrol emblem before POP/Promotion
3. POP/Promotion will be held on 25/06/09. Pls make sure that ALL patrol emblems are already changed.
4. At any point of time when you are coming to school for ROD or other trainings, do remember to bring 2ndhand stuff to sell during GGS carnival :)
If there's any questions, feel free to put it on the tagboard!

Up till today, Yishun Town Girl Guides has been going strong,
and for the year of 2009, we managed to clinch a GOLD Puan Noor Aisyah (PNA) Award.
Led by our beloved teachers, Miss Ruziana, Miss Soh, Miss Goh and Miss See, as well as our advisor, Miss Rebecca Kong, we have managed to become a Gold unit.
Our activities are packed with fun and laughter, smiles and joy.
Work hard and play hard; we take things seriously at the right times.
